About Ferrotech

Our Journey

1986

  • Establishment

Ferrotech was founded as a metallurgy consulting and manufacturers’ agency. Initially operating as a wholesaler, the company outsourced tooling, casting, machining, assembly, and painting operations to a network of specialized partners.

1993

  • First Equipment Acquisition

Ferrotech acquired its first machining and manufacturing equipment, marking a major shift toward in-house production.

1999

  • Plant Construction and ISO Certification

Continued growth resulted in the construction of Ferrotech’s current 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in the Coaticook Industrial Park. In the same year, the company earned ISO 9001 certification, reinforcing its commitment to quality and operational excellence.

2000-2019

  • Business Growth and Consolidation

Over nearly twenty years, Ferrotech continuously expanded its manufacturing capabilities, reinforcing its expertise in precision machining and manufacturing while developing a strong international network of casting suppliers.

2023

  • Company Acquisition

In November 2023, entrepreneurs Yan Corriveau and Jean-Simon Bhérer acquired Ferrotech. Since then, they have focused on advancing the company’s growth while maintaining an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Their goal is to position Ferrotech as a trusted business partner, delivering expert support and high-quality machined and cast components to meet customers’ evolving needs.

  • Sister Companies

These two entrepreneurs are also the owners of Tuba Inc., a manufacturer of bent, machined, and welded metal components produced from tubing and structural profiles, and PhilExpert, a leading supplier of abrasive blasting equipment and abrasive media for industrial applications.
